Remus was a bit bothered as he began transform, it was easier and somewhat pleasent to the usual transformation. He felt the gills forming and his fingers and toes webbing. This was the first time he has actually tried this. It was exciting. He pulled her with him as the swam through a field of long seaweed. He let go of her hand and winked at her as he swam away starting a chase. He kicked his legs and turned to hide behind a large mass of them. He listened closely as he heard her swimming by and tried as carefully as he could to stay quiet and still.
Tonks laughed and swam to him when Remus started a chase. She let him to swim away a bit and then started to go after him.
Before she could get to the place where he hid himself, she lost his track and panicked a little. What if she lose him? There was no way she could call for him under the water… She took a look around and kicked the water few times before swimming another way.
Suddenly she heard something behind her, so she turned around quickly and frowned when there was nothing visible. Where was he? She wanted to call him, but…
Something grabbed her leg. She looked down and noticed a ferocious sea-grass wrapping around her ankle. She leaned down, trying to get her foot out of it, but it was almost impossible to get rid of it with the bare hands.
Tonks sighed and looked up. She was quite deep under the surface. Great, now she’s going to be stuck in here for another forty minutes before the gillyweed stops working and she is going to drown… Where the hell was Remus?
Remus waited a few moments and was now increasingly alarmed at how long it was taking her to find him. He wondered if she had gotten into some trouble, the lake held as many strange creatures as the forest he wouldnt be surprised but npw he hoped nothing had happened. It would be all his fault if somthing did. He grabbed held his wand firmly in his hand and began to search through the waters for her. He turned his head and saw something out the corner of his eyes. His mind registered it quckly and he saw Dora struggling to free her leg. He swam quickly to her and stopped her from struggling against it. He held her face in her hands, cupping her cheeks. He gave her a look, that asked her if she was okay.
He looked her over, looking for any other signs of other injuries. He saw nothign else and was thankful it was just the seagrass around her leg. He gave her a reassuring smile and swam down to her foot. His hands moved to grip the slippery grass and pulled at it. He tried and it never got loose. He took his wand and muttered a spell in his head. A small spark shot out and cut the grass. He grabbed the rest of it and pulled it from her leg before taking her hand. He swam and led her to a clearing away from the grass.

“No..but you could give a little warning before you decide to push me under the water. This water taste quite as nasty as it looks” he said with smile. He looked at her surprised as she dived back down but not before saying. “We could go say hello to the squid,”. There was no squid, none at all it was a myth, wasnt it?. He waited a few minutes before he used his wandless magic to accio a small jar of gillyweed and his wand, just in case. It was a good thing he had started collecting ingredients for his own store. He had just happened to grab the gillyweed himself earlier that morning. He took a small handful and swallowed it down before taking the jar and swimming down towards Dora. He spotted her no to far away and offered her the jar.
If she wanted to explore the lake, she’d need a bit of it to breath. There was no way that they could stay down there that long.
She looked at him with surprise. She wasn’t really serious about exploring the lake, but since he took it this way… She accepted the jar and stuffed small amount of the gillyweed to her mouth before handing it back to Remus.
She kicked the water few times and dived deeper, waving at him to follow her. When he reached her, she took his hand and smiled. There were supposed to be many creatures in the lake and Tonks was happy he agreed to explore it with her.
She never took a gillyweed before. She knew about the effects but it still surprised her when the gills and webbing between her fingers started growing. She looked at Remus whose body was changing too and sighed with relief. They were in this together.

Remus’s hands went to her waist, as she wrapped her legs around his waist. He could barely take in a breath when she pushed him below the surface again. He blinked under the water looking at her just before she kissed him. He held to him and kissed her back.
He turned them and went back up to the surface still holding her around the waist. His legs kicked under them as he kept them afloat. He leaned his head against hers and panted slightly to catch his breath. “Trying to kill, Dora” he said jokingly before pecking her lips.
Tonks laughed softly. “Sorry,” she chuckled and touched his cheeks gently. “Tired already?” she asked, releasing him from her grip and kicking the water under her. “We could go say hello to the squid,” she grinned and dived again, leaving Remus behind.

Remus watched as she undressed and turned away to avert his eyes …not before taking a glance at her body. He coughed and cleared his throat before looking back at her in the water.”You …cant.. no..no… It’s bloody cold and the squid .. THE SQUID!” he protested, holding back a laugh. His argument was ridiculous. “Fine..” he said finally. He looked down at himself, a little hesitant to shed his clothes away. She would see more scars this time. “bugger” he muttered before taking his clothes off and stripping down to his boxers.
He ran to the water and dived in. He popped his head up from the water and shook the water from his hair and wiping the water from his face. He was pleasently surprised how warm the water felt. He swam a short way towards Dora and playfully splashed her. “I’ll have you know…I’m not always serious. I was once a marauder, you know” he said with a smile, spalshing her once again.
She laughed as he splashed water on her face and swam closer to him, wrapping her arms around his neck. “Once a marauder, always a marauder,” she chuckled and kissed his nose playfully. She was kicking the water under her, careful not to kick him instead and moved her lips on his. It was wet and watery, but it didn’t matter.
Tonks started laughing against his lips after a while. She had no idea why, but she felt a terrible urge to do so. She pulled away and splashed him before she jumped and disappeared under the water.

Remus looked at her with disbelief, not quite sure how she came to like him. He wa old and scarred. He was a werewolf and still..she accepted him. His heart felt like it was beating quicker than usual and he wondered if it was Dora’s doing. If this was what he felt around her he wouldnt have minded. He loved this feeling in fact. In the back of his head he still has his doubts and his fears but decided to put them aside for now. He wanted to be with her and she with him and he was going to give it a chance. It didnt matter what it took but he would keep trying. Hopefully he wouldn’t drive her to mad. He had already denied her for a long time. He remembered what Arthur told him a time ago when he said Dora needed someone young and whole. Everyone already knew of their affections for another but he of course always denied it.
“She needs someone young and whole” Remus told him with a exasperated sigh. But she wants you,” said Arthur, with a small smile. “And after all, Remus, young and whole men do not necessarily remain so”
It was time that he took that advice and finally tell Dora and give her a chance..give them a chance to be together. Wether it worked out or not he didnt know but he would give it a try and do his best and keep her happy in the end…he hoped. “ Yes..dora …I will and more ” he said smiling at her and squeezing her hand gently in his before leaning down to kiss her softly.
Tonks smiled against his lips and nodded. “It’s a deal then,” she chuckled, touching his hair. “Now, stop being so serious,” she said and took a step back, looking around. They were really close to the lake now and she suddenly had the craziest idea. She pulled out her wand, pointed it on the water and mumbled quick spell. The water started boiling in a few seconds and Tonks smiled, satisfied with her work.
“Now…” she smirked and let go of Remus’ hand. “I really think it’s the best time to swim.” She started to laugh when she saw his surprised look and ran towards the lake. She stopped at the edge and started taking her shoes off. “Coming?” she called over and took off her jewellery and hair pieces. Then she slipped out of her dress quickly and jumped to the warm water.

He smiled and looked in her eyes before leaning down to kiss her again. “I want to be with you..I do want us too happen ..but I warn you ..I can be a right stubborn arse and I tend do have mood swings during the week of the full moon. Do you think you can handle that ..seeing me in pain. That is what you’ll see … I want you to be sure ..fogive me if it seems im pulling away but…I have to be sure .. I want to be sure you can handle this. I dont want you to end up hurt ..and I will try my best not to” he said looking at her, trying to read her.
“I’m willing to work hard at this… and try” he said confidently. “I’ve hidden away for far to long and .. If I must start again. I wouldnt want to do this with anybody else but you” he said cupping her cheek and stroking his thumb across her cheekbone. He smiled at her and took his hand away, taking her hand in his instead.
Tonks chuckled. “Mood swings during one week in a month? I guess we have nothing to tax each other with,” she smirked. “Come on, Remus, my hair gets red when someone calls me my first name, I can handle all your moods…” She touched his cheek and smiled.
“I want to be there for you when you’re not feeling well. I want to help you through your hard times. I can ease your pain, if you let me…” She sighed and kissed his palm softly. “There is nothing we couldn’t handle together…” she whispered. She couldn’t be sure about that, she had no idea whether their relationship would work or not; she just knew they have to try. She didn’t want anything else from life. “Will you let me be your bay? Your wings, your only love?” she asked and entangled her fingers with his.

He looked where his hand was and blushed a bit. He took her hand and kissed her palm. “my body feels like it’s fifty and looks as so it is” he said looking down and away from her. As if he was warning her and pushing her away from him. He just wanted her to know that he wasn’t like other men, he really wasn’t. He was a werewolf it would be completely different.
“So, where do we go from here, Dora. Where do you…want us to go?” he asked looking at her again, biting his lip nervously.
Tonks put her hand on his cheek and smiled kindly. “You are beautiful to me,” she said. Her thumb traced one scar on his face softly as she was speaking. “I know you’re worried about you being a werewolf, I can see it in your eyes… But I don’t care, Remus. I know what it takes to take care of you in your hardest days and I want to help you through them. I know you would never hurt me.”
She paused to take a breath, listening to his nervous question. “I…” she said and squeezed his hand in both of hers. “I am willing to go wherever it takes us with you. I only want to be with you, no matter what. Do you… want to be with me too, Remus?” She couldn’t believe she was the acting one. She felt like she needed to push him to another steps. But she didn’t mind. Not anymore.
